We recommend that you use the XamDateTimeEditor control instead of the xamDateTimeInput control. The xamDateTimeInput is being planned for retirement over the next few years and will not receive any new features. We will continue to provide support and critical bug fixes for the xamDateTimeInput during this time. For help or questions on migrating your codebase to the xamDateTimeEditor, please contact support.
The xamDateTimeInput control is a simple text box control that uses a mask to assist users in entering dates and/or time values in the correct format. Using this mask, you can restrict the user’s input to valid date and time formats that you decide beforehand. The control also provides a calendar drop down from which to choose a date. You can use the xamDateTimeInput control either as a stand-alone text box or in a xamGrid™ cell.
