If the underlying ValueEditor that's being used to display the cell's value has a value validation error (its Infragistics.Windows.Editors.ValueEditor.IsValueValid set to false), then this property will return the error message explaining why the value is invalid. If the ValueEditor's IsValueValid is true, then the associated cell's DataError property value is returned.
