The WinFlowLayoutManager™ component is a component which positions control. It eliminates the task of programmatically positioning the controls on a Form for you. The locations of controls on a Form will be determined based on the size of the control and the following settings:
Alignment — Determines the alignment of the controls with respect to the Orientation.
HorizontalGap — The number of pixels between each control horizontally as well as the border of the container and controls.
Margins — The minimal distance between the borders of the containing control and the contained controls.
Orientation — Determines whether the controls flow vertically or horizontally.
VerticalGap — The number of pixels between each control vertically as well as the border of the container and controls.
WrapItems — Determines whether the controls should wrap around to a new line if there is not enough room to display them all on a single line.
In addition to the above settings, the UltraFlowLayoutManager attaches extender properties to the controls it manipulates. The properties allow each individual control to specify layout-related information which only applies to that control. The extender properties are:
IncludeInLayout — Determines whether the control’s position is managed by the layout manager.
PreferredSize — The preferred size for the control to be used by the layout manager.
