IsChaptered Property

Returns true if this is a chaptered column (represents a child set of rows)
Syntax
'Declaration

Public ReadOnly Property IsChaptered As Boolean
public bool IsChaptered {get;}
Example
Each band with a child band has a chaptered column associated with that child band. Chaptered columns are always hidden. IsChaptered property is useful when processing columns of a band and you want to know if any one of them is a chaptered column so you don't apply the same processing to it as you would apply to regular columns. Following code prints out the keys of the chaptered columns in band 0. If band 0 doesn't have any child bands, which would be the case if the UltraGrid is bound to a flat data source, then it won't print any thing.

       Dim band As UltraGridBand = Me.ultraGrid1.DisplayLayout.Bands(0)

       Dim i As Integer
       For i = 0 To band.Columns.Count - 1
           If band.Columns(i).IsChaptered Then
               Debug.WriteLine(band.Columns(i).Key & " is chaptered")
           End If
       Next

   End Sub
