I'm in the process of porting a WPF app from VS 2010 to VS 2012. At the same time, I'm porting from Infragistics 2011 Vol. 2 to 2012 Vol. 1. My application uses the xamRibbon control, which has multiple ribbon tabs. In the VS 2012 designer, I am not able to click on a ribbon tab to see the contents of that tab. When I run the app, I can click on the tabs and see each tab's content without issue. It's just the VS 2012 designer that's giving me a headache. If I open the same solution in VS 2010 (still using Infragistics 2012.1 ribbon control), I'm able to see the ribbon tab contents just fine when I click on a tab in the designer. You can duplicate this problem by creating a simple starter WPF app with just a riboon control and 2 tabs. Is this a bug or is there something about the VS 2012 designer that I don't understand?

I have logged this behavior with our developers in our tracking system, with an issue ID of 122048. I have also created a support ticket on your behalf with number CAS-100705-Y1Y7P4 in order to link the development issue to it so that you are automatically updated when a Service Release containing your fix is available for download.
i´m experiencing this same behaviour when using .Net Advantage WPF 2011.2 (Latest Service Release) in VS Studio 2012. But i can give some more Information. When using the XamRibbon inside the RibbonWindow i can`t click anything within that XamRibbon.

Could you please let me know for the exact version of Infragistics which you are using and the Visual studio that you are using. Also is it possible to post a simple test project where this issue is demonstrated.

I'm still having the issue for Windows Form ToolsManager.
When I added an ultraWinToolManager I can't see the Show Ribbon button in designer and when I go to Properties in Ribbon->Visible I got a message that it says Install Office 2007 UI capabilities, but I already select that option when was installing for first time.
Do you know if the problem has been fixed also for WinForm version?

This issue has been fix for 12.1 and 12.2 version of our product. Starting with 12.1 we added support for Visual Studio 11/ Visual Studio 2012 and CLR 4.5. For more information please look in the following forum blog :
