Please see attached image - I would like to group rows and place group headers in the data cells - not in rows above the data. Is it possible to do this?

I have been looking into the functionality you need. If I understood you correctly, you need to merge some of the data cells in the XamDataGrid. Merging cells is not available in the XamDataGrid but it is available in the XamGrid.
