I created a user control of XamMultiColumnComboEditor, however when I bind to selected Item to my ViewModel it does not seem to work. Attached is a demo project that shows when I bind SelectedItem to Person it does not hit the set property.

Thank you for your post. I have been looking into it and the sample you have provided and I modified it, so now it works as you want. Basically I set the XamMultiColumnComboEditor’s SelectedItem Binding to be TwoWay. This way the Source could be updated properly. Please let me now if this helps you or you need further assistance on this matter.
