Hello Karthik,
After some research Ability to export to PDF has been determine as a new Product Idea. I have sent your Product Idea directly to our product management team. Our product team chooses new Product Ideas for development based on popular feedback from our customer base. Infragistics continues to monitor application development for all of our products, so as trends appear in requested ideas, we can plan accordingly.
We value your input, and our philosophy is to enhance our toolset based on customer feedback. If your idea is chosen for development, you will be notified at that time. Your reference number for this Product Idea is PI12080161
If you would like to follow up on your Product Idea at a later point, you may contact Developer Support management via email. Please include the reference number of your Product Idea in the subject and body of your email message. You can reach Developer Support management through the following email address: dsmanager@infragistics.com
PDF export format as a "new product idea" seems amusing viewed from a certain perspective. (Visual: light bulbs coming on all over the place).
On a serious note: my project is looking for a WPF reporting control and export to PDF is a requirement. Your product management folks might like to know that lack of that feature may cause you to be passed over in favor of other products.
Hi Stefan,
I have been using NetAdvantage Reporting 11.2 for years now in order to create PDF and Excel reports. Now I have a 16.2 license and wanted to update the reporting but found that ServerExporterFactory and all the staff no longer exist, and WPF Reporting only exports to XPS. Am I missing something or the reporting engine is completely gone now?
Hello Vince,
Since the REporting can be used in SL, WPF, ASP and WinForms, the samples in our web site are on ASP since it is not possible to upload a WPF sample for example. Also I can say that the steps to print in PDF are the same for all technologies and here you can see a walkthrough for WPF:
http://help.infragistics.com/NetAdvantage/reporting/2013.1/CLR4.0?page=How_to_Print_a_Report_Programmatically_using_WPF.html
You can also see the other sections which describes how to create the Report itself.
Hope this helps you.
This link is just a product overview page, with very little sample code... and it looks like it's for ASP/MVC.This thread was about WPF and exporting data to PDF... isn't there some sample code for that?
Thanks,
--Vince
Hello Chris,
currently we provide a Reporting product which can be used along with WPF and has the ability to export to PDF file. HEre yo ucan read more about it:

PDF export really would be useful... and it seems odd that you don't offer it in the WPF toolkit when you do offer it in the WinForms toolkit. As I've only purchased the WPF toolkit though, the WinForms version is of no use. This original post was made 6 months ago - any progress on getting the PDF included in the WPF version? Any idea when it might be available etc?
