I find lost focus will cause selection changed event in new XamComboEditor. I write a sample to reproduce the issue.
1. click in XamComboEditor and input 'a' to display the filter items.
2. select 'aaa' in the dropdown list with mouse
3. click button1 or button2, you will find XamComboEditor select 'aaaa'

This was a known issue that has since been resolved in the later service releases for WPF. Download the latest service release from our website and this will resolve your issue.

On the "My Keys and Downloads" page you will see a list of product keys. Select the product key assigned to the product you wish to update and then scroll down the download list until you reach the Service Releases section.
