Hide the sub-level group title when its empty

Hi,

How can I setup the xamdatagrid to be able to hide the sub-level group title when the group is empty. The setup shown below is perfect when there is something in each group of each level, but if the sub-level is empty, I always have a useless title that I dont want.

Hi -

Can you provide an annotated screenshot that shows what you want to accomplish? (I'm not 100% clear about what you are trying to accomplish in the UI based from your description). Thx.

Has you can see, the title of the group "sous-niveau de classe" is shown but there is not data listed.

There is no way to achieve what you want with property settings. If you would like to see support for this functionality via a property setting you can submit a request here: http://devcenter.infragistics.com/Protected/RequestFeature.aspx http://devcenter.infragistics.com/Protected/RequestFeature.aspx

You might be able to achieve this in code like so:

Listen to the XamDataGrid's InitializeRecord event. This event is fired for each record when it is first initialized.

The record being intiailized is passed in the event args (i.e., e.Record). Look for records that are of type ExpandableFieldRecord

ExpandableFieldRecords have a ChildRecords property. When you encounter a record that is an ExpandableFieldRecord, look at ChildRecords.Count. If it is equal to zero then set e.Record.Visibility = Visibility.Collapsed

I haven't tried this but it should do what you want.
