is there any option to design the fieldlayout at designtime? similar UltraGrid?

There is a design interface when you click on the Properties pane and edit the FieldLayouts collection property. A dialog window will popup with the ability to add Fields.

by ultraGrid i have the possibility to define my Source-Schema and design the GridLayout with my Columns with the Design-Assistent.
I would like to do this in WPF-Grid too.
I believe that the XAML markup editor and designer are the substitute for this in the WPF Platform.
