I might be missing something here, but I can't seem to find the downloadable documentation (CHM, PDF, VS2008) anymore. I'm pretty sure it used to be under "Downloads" (for the WPF stuff anyway), but now all I can find is a link to online documentation...Doesn't seem to be part of the installation either.
Thanks,Michel
I do not see a link to local VS help from Program Files > Infragistics > (NetAdvantage WPF ...) > Get Help. There are links only for online documentation.

Note that the documentation is provided in a newer help format than CHM, but still provides similar functionality and integration with Visual Studio. From the startmenu, if you navigate to the NetAdvantage folder in Program Files, you'll see the link to the help file. It's no longer a classic .CHM, but will still launch in an indexed, user friendly format using the same help viewer as Microsoft's .NET Framework Documentation. We also have help content available in PDF, or you can view the help online at http://help.infragistics.com.
I was looking for the same CHM ... PDF is not the most used item to look up for help anyways for a programmer because of the navigation issues. CHM and VS help give you links between related pages that is easier to navigate. First time users would like to have a PDF to start reading from the basics page by page but programmers [atleast me & Michel] prefer to use the CHM/VS Help.
Michel,
I'm curious as to why you thing the VS integrated help isn't as good as the CHM. In the past the CHM and VS help that were made available contained the same content. We decided that going forward we would only offer the VS format, but if we would have made a CHM the content would be exactly the same as what's in the VS format that's available.
Did you just prefer the CHM because of its portability? In addition, what would you like to see our Help PDFs contain to make them more useful?
Damn... There goes the productivity (PDF=practically useless, VS integrated = not as good as it should be.) I guess I'll hold on to that CHM file that was available with the WPF 8.1 stuff.
