Hello,
Please pardon the sheer "basicness" of this question, as I am new to WPF and .NET as well.
Is there a way to apply the themes that come with the Infragistics controls with the basic WPF controls (e.g. buttons) that might also appear in the application? IG has clearly done a lot of work to develop the themes that are available for their controls, and it seems there must be some way to leverage that work for the rest of the application so that everything has a consistent appearance.
Am I missing something very basic here? :-)
Thanks for any advice you can throw my way.
Bob
Hi Bob,
The current Theme infrastrcuture only themes the Infragistics controls. We will be releasing a CTP of a theming framework in the next few months that will achieve what you are after. Keep an eye on the the work our Experience Design Group is doing here http://es.infragistics.com/design/ for updates on this.
Let me know if this helps,
Thanks
Jason

Ok, thanks Martin. We will keep everyone posted.
Do you know Ed Blankenship? He runs our Release Engineering department and is also a Team System MVP.
:) I don't know him, know him ;), but we participate in the same communications structure for Team System and I have read many of his emails....
