Hello again,
It seems that the character settings are not being carried over from paragraph to paragraph. I'll elaborate on it since it's a bit complicated.
After typing some content into the editor and applying some styles (like bold, underline, etc) on the last word in the paragraph ----> hitting enter will create a new paragraph, but the newly created paragraph will NOT return the aforementioned styles, unless you start typing. Once you start typing, then you get the character settings from previous paragraph. This can be misleading for the end user since they don't see the toggled "bold/underline/italic" after pressing the enter key. So they think that the style wasn't kept.
I've attached a sample solution to reproduce this problem. Use the toggle buttons to apply settings/styles, then press enter. Upon pressing enter, a new paragraph is created but it doesn't keep the same settings, unless you start typing. I've tried MS Word and their settings do instantly apply on the new paragraph.
Thanks
Hello,
Thank you for your post.
I have logged this behavior with our developers in our tracking system, with an issue ID of 205325. I have also created a support ticket on your behalf with number CAS-163686-L2J3K1 in order to link the development issue to it so that you are automatically updated when a Service Release containing your fix is available for download.
Hello Zhivko,
I just want to make sure that the issue reported is the same as what I was seeing.Based on the case number mentioned above, it appears that the caret is the only issue. But what I was seeing wasn't just the caret, but the actual settings of the paragraph also. When creating a new paragraph by pressing the enter key, the newly created paragraph doesn't have the style (colors, underline, bold, etc) from the previous one.Can you please double check that this issue will be solved in the future release?
Thank you
