Hi
I have applied theme to a form and I noticed that when the form is maximized or is full screened the bottom portion of the form hides behind the system taskbar. This behavior is only observed when theme is applied on the form, without the theme the form works perfectly.
I am also posting a screenshot of the same form when the theme is applied.
Please suggest the reason for such a situation.
Thanks
Ishan Gandhi
Hi Ishan,
This behavior does not appear to be expected at all. However, I will need to reproduce it to verify this. Are you able to provide your theme and a sample application in which the issue occurs? Please let me know.
Hi Mike
I am attaching a demo application as well as a theme. Also attaching a screenshot. This happens when we use windows' maximize-on-top-drag feature. Everything works fine when using the maximize button on the form.

I could not get this to occur in my test environment. After doing some research, I found others experiencing an issue where many or all of their applications were drawn behind the taskbar. I would like to clarify a few things:
The advice given on how to resolve this on an independent Microsoft help site was as follows:
I am not certain why this works, but others have posted in support of the advice. Here is a link to the full thread: http://www.sevenforums.com/general-discussion/21697-bug-windows-maximize-behind-taskbar.html
Please let me know whether you are able to resolve this.
Are you still experiencing this issue? Please let me know.
I have so far been unable to get this issue to occur in my testing. I'd like to gather some more information to try and pinpoint the cause.
Is it isolated to one test machine, or do you see it happening in multiple environments? What screen resolution are you using, and are you using multiple monitors? Does the maximization issue occur on all screens? If you change your screen resolution, does the issue persist? I'm interested to know whether this is caused by a specific resolution, or whether a "reset" will stop it from happening.
Hi Mike,
Yes, I am using windows 7 for development. But I don't think the issue is due to this as I have not noticed this behavior in any other application. Also recently I noticed that this behavior is evident only when I use UltraFormManager or UltraToolbarManager. I am using those two to theme the non-client area of the form.
Your suggestions are welcome.
