Is there a way to display animated gifs in WinExplorerBar? On groups? On items?
Hello emoreau,
This could be achieve with 'ControlContainer' style of the groups and a picture box control.
Could you please review the sample attached to this post and see if it meets your requirements. Please feel free to let me know if I misunderstood you or if you have any other questions.
what about putting one on the Group? to be more specific, I already have what a CreationFilter as shown in http://es.infragistics.com/community/forums/t/80045.aspx and I am trying to add a spinner on groups when data is loading.

I am pretty sure that it will takes monthssss before seeing that features. And also, it is not always convenient/possible to upgrade to the newest version of your tools!
Meanwhile, what are my options?
emoreau,
For now I can say that this is pending in our product ideas queue.
There are many benefits to submitting an product idea:
- Direct communication with our product management team regarding your product idea.
- Notifications whenever new information regarding your idea becomes available.
- Ability to vote on your favorite product ideas to let us know which ones are the most important to you. You will have ten votes for this and can change which ideas you are voting for at any time.
- Allow you to shape the future of our products by requesting new controls and products altogether.
- You and other developers can discuss existing product ideas with members of our Product Management team.
We have just released a new system about ideas.
Steps to create your idea:
The Product Idea site puts you in the driver’s seat and allows you to track the progress of your ideas at any time, see how many votes it got, read comments from other developers in the community, and see if someone from the product team has additional questions for you.
The option I can think of is the one I suggested in my first post.
I will discuss this with our engineering staff and we will let you know if we can think of another approach.
