Hello:
I am using VS2010. I just installed NetAdvantage5.2.
When I tried to add Ultragrid to a form, I received an error message:
Failed to create component "UltraGrid". The error message follows:
"System.ComponentModel.LicenseException: Unable to locate license assembly...."
Can somebody tell me how I can resolve this issue?

Hello Venki,
Could you please take a look if your project is referencing multiple versions of the UltraWinGrid assemblies. Also, please clear the contents of the license.licx file and build your project again.
I will be waiting for your feedback!
I wanted to know if you were able to solve your issue based on these suggestions or you still need help. Please let me know.

Yes, I do have problems.
I am signed as a user who is part of the Administrators group. I tried to execute the exe version of the installer and I got a message saying that it was not able to access c:\inetpub\wwwroot folder. I tried to run it as an Administrator and it was the same result. I reinstalled IIS and that did not rectify the problem.
When I executed the windows installer and selected just the windows components, I was able to run through the installation but when I try to add the component to my toolbox and use it on a form, I get the above error.

Here's the screenshot of the error I received.
Did you try my first suggestion? Could you please let me know of your whole scenario and the steps you are using to reproduce the issue? This sounds like a dissension between versions. Are you by chance seeing your controls in the component try and not on the form?
It had to do with my user credentials. When I signed in as an Administrator, I was able to install and use the components on the form.
I also added my account a member of the Administrators group. I am all set fo now.
But it does puzzle me why all of a sudden it started working! All along, I had tried with different user accounts, some as part of the Administrators group and some not.
Thanks.
I am glad to hear that you got this working, because it was strange for me too and I was running out of guesses. Please let us know if you experience that or any other issue for that matter.
