Hello,
when using the AppStylist i found a "bug" in the spinbutton. The up and down buttons are all shown in the same bounds. But the left-right spinbutton differ. The right-button lies a littlebit higher than the left one.
Can i repair it with a little change or is it your business?
Regards,
Bjoern
Hello Bjoern,
I will be happy to assist you with your concern,
May I ask which version of the NetAdvantage AppStylist you are currently using? I am currently using 12.2.20122.1006 and am unable to reproduce the behavior you are encountering when using the IG.isl style library.
Please let me know if you still require assistance regarding the NetAdvantage AppStylist.
Hi Bjoern,
Thanks for the update.
I will test this in a Windows XP environment and update you with my findings as soon as they become available
Using the same method provided in my previous test, I am unable to reproduce this anomaly in a Windows XP Environment. Please let me know if you can provide me with a video demonstrating this behavior and add it to YouTube. This will allow me to analyze the steps you are doing and provide you with a solution.
Hello Jose,
a video will not help you. I do nothing but opening the isl-file with the AppStyler and select the "Tabs"-tab. Now, when the AppStyler is not in maximize windowstate (because in maximize you will not see the arrows) we can see this behaviour. In every style we open or create, your sample styles also.
The attached image demonstrates what I see when using the AppStyler with build 12.1.20121.2054 on a Windows XP 32bit machine. This screenshot shows a standard Form that has not been maximized. I am unable to reproduce the behavior you are encountering. May I ask if you are able to reproduce this on another machine?
that really curious. I get this behaviour on every machine of my colleagues.
I will try it on a Win7 machine and report.
Edit: OK. On the win7 machine everything is alright. So whats the matter on our XP?
Thank you for your patience.
I can confirm that my environment is similar the one you are currently using. I am using a Windows XP Pro (5.1, Build 2600) Machine with Service Pack 3 and NetAdvantage 12.1.20121.2054. The behavior I encounter is the same as I've demonstrated in the image I attached on Nov 26th. May I ask if you can provide me with the version of the .NET framework you have installed in your envionment?
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Enclosed please find the output of DXDIAG. Hope this helps.
Thank you for the update.
May I ask if you can attach the information provided within the DXDIAG utility. This will allow me to look at your system specifications and compare the differences between my Windows XP machine and yours.
Please let me know if you have an questions.
