Is there a way to control how long you need to hover before the UltraDockManager flyout pane slides out? I'd like the user to be able to move over the tab without having the flyout panel become visible. For now, there seems to be only the ability to have it slide out on over, or when you click on it.
Also: The navigation system for the forums is not easy to use. I have to go through each to find which contains the group I need to post in.
Hello ,
You could manage animation speed setting AnimationSpeed property to one of the following enum values
http://help.infragistics.com/Help/NetAdvantage/WinForms/2012.2/CLR4.0/html/Infragistics4.Win.UltraWinDock.v12.2~Infragistics.Win.UltraWinDock.AnimationSpeed.htmlAlso you could manage the action that occurs when the mouse hovers over an unpinned tab via UnppinedTabHoverAction property to display tooltip when user hover a tab. For more information please review the following links:

Please let me know if you have any further questions.
The first two link don't seem to go anywhere. (404) So far as I know, the links refer to a property that controls how fast the flyout tabs slide out, not how long you must hover before they start sliding out.
Currently, I've changed the hover action from 'Flyout' to 'DisplayToolTip' in order to get around the problem I'm having. hen the user clicks, the flyout tab is displayed. This is to get around the problem listed below.
The problem relates to having the flyout tabs anchored to the top. Each time you go to the menu bar at the top of the window, (above the flyout tabs) you sometimes cause the flyout tabs to display.
On my system, I anchor the flyout tabs left to circumvent this problem, but the architect of the application likes the top, and has the install default to use the top as the anchor for the flyout.
I hope this explains the issue better, and what I'm looking for.
Thank you.
Hello,
Here is the link again http://help.infragistics.com/Help/NetAdvantage/WinForms/2012.2/CLR4.0/html/Infragistics4.Win.UltraWinDock.v12.2~Infragistics.Win.UltraWinDock.AnimationSpeed.html
Yes the , the links refer to a property that controls how fast the flyout tabs slide out, not how long you must hover before they start sliding out. So ultraDockManager doesn’t have a property which determine how long the TabHeader should be hovered before expand it, but you could set UnpinnedTabHovverAction to non and to and to use a timer and to expand the tab manually with its Flyout(…) method. Something similar like this in the attached sample.
