When there is large cardview band I could not make it scrollable - is there a way to achieve automatic scrollbars for cardview?
Three columns in card view, grid scrollbar moved to right edge, card view scrollbar not active, band[1] columns not visible:
Hello,
Could you please try to attach, if possible, a small sample project with your scenario, reproducing this behavior, I will be happy to take a look at it.
Sample attached. Card scrollbar works in design mode, does not in edit mode
Yes, I was able to reproduce this and has asked our engineering staff to examine this.
Scrolling in the grid is row-based. That means that if you only have one card, there is nothing to scroll to. The Scrollbar does not scroll within a card – it’s the programmers responsibility to make sure that no single row or card is bigger than the extent of the grid.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need any additional assistance.
But in case above card is not visible and does not fit the screen. We cannot supoprt only 21" monitors, sometimes user will launch it on 15" laptops, and in such a case both customer and developers expect to scroll card to see what does not fit.
Are you telling me there is no way to see what does not fit the screen when using cardview?

Scrollbars are everywhere, they simply do not work. How can "working normally" become a new feature?
My customers will tell us "it is a BUG", what should I say to them ?
Hi Arthur,
You could get this width through the 'CardWidthResolved' property on the band containing the cards you are working with.
Funny - my customer say it is a bug. I wonder who's right?
As I understand the only workaround would be to create some scrollable panel, on which I will put the grid.
Then I need to set autofit to cards = true, cardscrollbars = none.
Then one scrollbar of that panel will make whole thing work as normal.
Having sample as above - multiple columns, multiple bands, generated dynamically at runtime.
How can I measure that panel minimum width to make sure whole card is visible?
Hi,
This is not a bug. The scrollbar in your sample doesn't work because there is nothing to scroll. The grid doesn't support pixel-level scrolling, it scrolls one row at a time. Your sample has only one row in it, so there is nothing to scroll.
If you need to display a single card in the grid, then you will need to make sure that your grid is big enough to display that card.
