When there is large cardview band I could not make it scrollable - is there a way to achieve automatic scrollbars for cardview?
Three columns in card view, grid scrollbar moved to right edge, card view scrollbar not active, band[1] columns not visible:
Hi Arthur,
You could get this width through the 'CardWidthResolved' property on the band containing the cards you are working with.
Funny - my customer say it is a bug. I wonder who's right?
As I understand the only workaround would be to create some scrollable panel, on which I will put the grid.
Then I need to set autofit to cards = true, cardscrollbars = none.
Then one scrollbar of that panel will make whole thing work as normal.
Having sample as above - multiple columns, multiple bands, generated dynamically at runtime.
How can I measure that panel minimum width to make sure whole card is visible?
Hi,
This is not a bug. The scrollbar in your sample doesn't work because there is nothing to scroll. The grid doesn't support pixel-level scrolling, it scrolls one row at a time. Your sample has only one row in it, so there is nothing to scroll.
If you need to display a single card in the grid, then you will need to make sure that your grid is big enough to display that card.
Scrollbars are everywhere, they simply do not work. How can "working normally" become a new feature?
My customers will tell us "it is a BUG", what should I say to them ?
