We have an application using an UltraWinToolbar and "open" it up so that a user can customize it (i.e., drag icons from the Customize dialog to the toolbar and/or drag icons off the toolbar). The feature we are invoking for the toolbar to allow either of these customizations is the CUSTOMIZE routine (see below).
This all works as expected on workstations/servers running 32 bit OS. On workstations/servers running 64 bit OS (Windows 7, Server 2008), part of this is not working, i.e., the user no longer has the ability to drag/remove icons out of the toolbar.
The Infragistics version we are using is: Infragistics2.Win.UltraWinToolbars.v10.3 (10.3.20103.1000).
Any ideas why it doesn't work the same on 64bit machines?
Hello James,
I try to reproduce your issue (using the latest service release 10.3.20103.2128), but without success. Could you please try to upgrade your application. You could download the latest SR from our site : Infragistics.com -> MyIG -> My Keys and Downloads. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Regards
Actually no I cannot upgrade my application without fully understanding whether this was a bug in the previous version(s) and that the new service release is actually going to fix the issue. We have another version of our system using the older 8.2 version (see below) that is displaying the same characteristics.
Is there no way for you to test this under either of the versions I've provided details for and confirm it was a problem so that I better understand that the new service release will actually address the problem prior to going through the effort?
