Is this possible? I am using Office 2007 blue theme and would like the theme to apply to some of my forms that use windows panel.

what exact panel did you use? I can't seem to find anything like xampanel. They all seem to be linked to a tab control or some other control.
We went ahead and replaced all windows panel with Infragistics panel and set its theme background with the appstyler. all is well.

You can apply styling to inbox controls by placing an InboxControlStyle component on the form (or UserControl).
You also have to apply some styling to the properties of the ComponentRole for the control(s) you want in the isl file, itself, of course.
