I have created a DockAreaPane and set its ChildPaneStyle = ChildPaneStyle.TabGroup. When I populate this pane with multiple child panes the tab headers display just fine. However, when I have only added one child pane into the DockAreaPane the pane caption is displayed but there is no tab header displayed. Then, if I add another DockableControlPane, tab headers appear for both panes. How can I make a tab header display in the DockAreaPane regardless of the number of child panes it has?
(I know that what I am asking for is not exactly how Visual Studio works, but it is what I need for my application).
Thank you.
Hi,
I created a case for you with our Developer Support, you should be contacted shortly by a DS Engineer to continue this case.
My gut instinct says it isn't really going to happen as the control isn't designed with this in mind but it needs a thorough look through before I say for sure.
Matthew,
Thank you for your initial quick response. However, I have not seen any more activity on the matter. Is this still an active support case?
Thanks,
--Ray
Dave, I would indeed like to take to take you up on your offer to submit a feature request. However, the priority of my specific need is not critical at the current time.
Thank you,
Dave,
If Ray doesn't take you up on your offer to to submit a feature request, I will. I came to the forums searching for info on the very same idea.
Hello Ray,
If you'd like, I could submit a feature request for this behavior on your behalf. Please let me know how you'd like to proceed.
