I got a new machine with onle VS2010 Premium on it and the installation of all components of IG 2010.2 Win/WEB worked.
Only the Winforms Help installer told me that installation will be terminated, as there can't be any 2005 or 2008 Studio found on the machine. That's right I didn't install these and I#m not planing to do so.
Are there any workarounds to install it on the machine?
I am having the same problem. I have a machine with only VS2010 and the local help refuses to install because Visual Studio 2008 and 2005 are missing. I do not want or plan to install any of those IDEs.
Is this an isolated issue? (I see no response to the original post nor comments about this issue from other users.

Hello,
Make sure you're installing the documentation with VS2010 in the name. The other documentation is for the older help system which requires Visual Studio 2003/2005/2008 installed.
