I just can't get the sense of what I need to do to put make a basic horizontal splitter work. Watched your short video, but to no avail. Can you give me some hints as to what one needs to do or point me to some thorough documentation? Thank you.
Thanks, I worked it out with your help.
The behavior is very unintuitive to me, having much experience with the SplitContainer control. The two a very different.
Thanks for your help.
Hi Kipp,
I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "maximized" in this context. But it sounds like you have not set the Dock property on your panels. You need to set one to Left and the other to Fill. You may also have to play around with the ZORder using the BringToFront button in VisualStudio on either the splitter or the panels.
When I do this I get a form with two panels and a splitter, none of which seems to have any relationship to the other.
How do I get it to behave such that one panel is maximized/docked in the left side of the splitter and the other panel is maximized/docked in the right side of the splitter?
Hello,
how can I add vertical dots to the splitter ?
Regards, Lello
Hi,
UltraSplitter works very much the same as the inbox Splitter control.
What exactly is giving you trouble? What are you trying to do?
Let's say I want to create a form with two panels and put a horizontal splitter in between them. Here's what I would do:
That's it. :)
