I checked the help file as well as the online help for the most recent version of the grid, but I did not see this, so I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but I figured I'd ask anyway to see if there might be an alternate method that I didn't think of.
Is it possible for the ExcelExporter to use an Excel template for its workbook creation? It appears that the constructor just creates a regular blank workbook.
No, there's currently no template functionality.

Since I made the post I've been playing around a bit with trying to use Excel's ActiveX object model to do this. It seems that it can be done that way, sort of, but it's a REAL pain.
