I have the Y axis set to smart auto-scaling, where X is a time series. When the only datapoints I get ever for the chart are all 0s for Y value with increasing times, I see no line, nor does the Y axis update at all.
How do I workaround this?
I think this may have been fixed recently. Have you tested using the latest available hotfix?
I was just at 8.2 and just installed 8.3, does that contain hotfix?
yes, it should contain the fix that i was thinking of. if the problem persists, can you provide steps to reproduce or a sample project?

I am experiencing the same problem. I have a stepline chart and when my Y values are all 0´s, the chart object does not display any value on the Y axis.
I have v8.3 of UltraWebChart.... is it supposed to be fixed in this version?

no; this issue was not fixed for StepLineCharts. I entered a bug report for this problem in StepLineCharts, # 25111. It will be resolved in a future hotfix.
