When we load the settings using DisplayLayout.Load, the extra column that is the calculating columns are not calcualted. Is there a way to force the rows to Calculate them?
You should not have to force the calculations, unless your CalcManager is in Manual mode.
What version of the grid are you using? Do you have the latest hot fix?
Can you duplicate this behavior in a small sample project? If so, you should Submit an incident to Infragistics Developer Support
We are using 2006 version. It is easy to replicate the errors. Just create a WinGrid with one column called salary. The run the application. Then use Column Chooser to create a new calculating column of type, for example real number, and call it Doubled Salary. The formula is Salary*2. The exit the app and save the settings using the Display Layout in an XML file. Then Run the app and load the XML setting file. You see the this calculating column does not work!
How can we get the Hot Fix for the 2006?
