We have a .Net Winform MDI Application that uses the Infragistics Ribbon Menu.
We currently use the native winform OpenFileDialog and SaveFileDialog to handle the opening and saving of the application data files, however more users are moving towards storing their files on Sharepoint, rather than local or network drives.
I would like to implement something similar to how Office 365 apps like Word and Excel work, which allow the user to interact with Sharepoint Sites and the Document folders when opening and saving files via the Application Menu, similar to this example:
What is the best-practice approach to implementing this type of functionality within our Application Menu?
Has anyone else integrated their Infragistics Application Menu with Sharepoint that can offer some advice?
Hello Anthony,
Thank you for contacting Infragistics Developer Support.
First of all, please let me make sure.Do you already access and get the Sharepoint folders that you need? And then, you are not sure how to represent it in your application? There is a no function to directly access Sharepoint folders from Infragistics Ribbon Menu.
Thank you,Yoshiomi Kariya
Hi YoshiomiYes, I already have access to the Sharepoint folders that I need, but not sure how to represent them in the Application Menu, similar to how MS Office products work
