Hey,
Does anyone know how to export row selector to Excel, like an extra column on the left?
Your help is greatly appreciated!
Best Regards,Shaolin
Hi Shaolin,
Simply this is not possible. The row selector is excusive feature for the UltaGrid and Excel does not have such analogue. However, you might try it exporting an unbound column, which might look as row selector. As far as I understand, you want to keep the selection arrow of the row selector displayed when you export the UltraGrid and this way whoever reads the data in the UltraGrid would know which the selected row was. Let me know I understand your use case correctly.
Let me know if you have additional questions regarding this matter.
Hi Ivaylo,
Thanks for your reply!
I was talking about row selector instead of row selection. The row selector is a term used by Infragistics but most people call it row header. What I need to have an extra column to show texts and styles of row selectors (row headers).
I figured out a way to do it nicely :-)
Currently this is not supported feature and you can submit it at http://ideas.infragistics.com/
