Hi,
We are using windows 10 and vs 2015. We are not able to see the commands for the toolbar manager that are usually accessed from the properties window. If we right click we see commands are checked. We move the mouse around and don't see an expander or anything.
We don't know how else to access the commands so that we can edit a toolbar, add new ones etc. It is actually the same issue with any of the infra controls (ultracombo editor as an example).
Thanks.
M.
Hello,
It is possible that commands is checked, but for some reason Visual Studios has lowered the window so low as to be not viewable. Please try unchecking and rechecking the commands option, which should reapply the commands panel in a viewable state.
If this doesn’t work, please send us a screenshot showing us what you’re seeing and any other information that could help our investigation.
Very respectfully, John VanZwieten Windows Forms Software Developer Infragistics Inc.
Yes we tried that. We went so far as to rest the entire UI Environment. I have attacheched a screenshot of the properties window with commands checked.
Thanks,
Let's find out if there is anything odd with your design assembly. In order to test this theory, please submit screenshots of the following:
Right click on a control which you’ve dropped onto your form, to check for our verbage.
Left click the control to focus on it, to check for our smart tag appearing at the top right.
Drag and drop an UltraGrid onto your form, to check that it populates the control onto the form instead of as a component.
The results of those screen shots could give us valuable information regarding the state of your design assemblies, and please let me know if your investigation uncovers any other pertinent details.
Well interestingly enough we get a big error when we try to drag an infra control on the form. I am attaching the screenshot.
Actually here is a better one.
As that is not the latest service release for Volume 14.2, the download is not visible from our public site. However, I have sent you the link for the download to your email, you will be able to use that to download the installer for the version you need.
Please let me know if there is any other way I can assist you.
Can you let us know where to find this specific build?
Sorry...there i still an issue. We don't see that specific service release for download on your site. How can we get that specific release?
We found that the installer is pushing the latest service release...not the release we have in our project (14.2.20142.2034). It would be nice on the installer if it let you pick which SR it should download.
I think we have it fixed at this point. Thanks for the help.
We believe the problem may be that the version your project is referencing and the version of the controls you’re using are different versions of Volume 14.2. To solve this issue, please:
Using our Toolbox utility, rebuild your Toolbox. This will ensure that your Toolbox controls are your most current version of 14.2.
Delete your references and add in the Infragistics references you need again. This will ensure that your project is referencing the most current version of 14.2.
Close and restart Visual Studio. This will ensure that no incorrect version references are cached.
Please let me know the results after you execute these steps.
