Hi,
I generate a chart (column chart) with varying number of series each containing varying number of data points.
The chart seems to only show the lowest number of data points and apply that to all series.
I can't find anything in the documentation regarding this but is it a requirement for each series to contain the exact same number of data points?
Regards,
Hi Marcin,
EDIT: It is required that each series has the same number of data points. Please see below for more information.
There is no requirement for the series to have the same number of data points. The chart is expected to draw all the data correctly.
Can you send over a reproduction sample that shows this occurring? If you can send over a sample, I can see what's going on and work to resolve it.
Please let me know if you would prefer to send the sample privately and I will open a support case for you.
I think it's noteworthy that I'm using version 2010.3.
I'm uploading a sample, first series has 3 data points, second has 2. Chart shows 2 for each. By adding the 3rd data point to the second series, both display 3.
I have reproduced this issue and I have asked our engineering staff to examine it further. To ensure that it will receive attention, I have logged this behavior in our internal tracking system with a Development ID of 209700. The next step will be for a developer to review my investigation and confirm my findings, or to offer a fix or other resolution.
I will update you with any new information after the review. You can also continue to send updates to this thread at any time.
Please let me know if you need more information.

Thank you for your sample. I am reviewing it to see why the chart does not show all the data points.
