Can I fix (or freeze) rows at the bottom of the grid, like a footer?
I have several rows at the bottom of the grid, as shown in the illustration, that should never scroll. They should remain fixed at the bottom like a footer. Is there a setting to freeze these rows at the bottom of the grid?
Hello Ray,
Thank you for contacting Infragistics Developer Support!
Do you mean footers by fixed rows? If so you review the following sample => http://es.infragistics.com/samples/aspnet/data-grid/header-footer-templates.
Looking forward for hearing from you.
Can the WebDataGrid display multiple footer rows?
For instance, can I have four footer rows that each contain different values?
I need to programmatically insert footer rows (or fixed rows, if you want to call them that).
These rows need to be at the bottom. They should not scroll with the rest of the rows. I will need to put custom values into each cell of these rows.
If there is no feature in WebDataGrid for this, can it be done with CSS? In other words, can I use special styles for the last rows in the grid that would freeze them at the bottom?
I am still following up. Have you been able to submit your product idea?If you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to contact me, I will be glad to help you.Thank you for choosing Infragistics components!

No, I didn't submit it. I don't believe IG will listen. Here's why: surely you have heard of this issue many times in the past. It's a pretty common thing for grids to do. Grids have been doing this for decades. So if you haven't added the feature by now, why would submitting it to another website change anything? Plus, you have this forum thread. Doesn't that serve as a notification to IG that customers want it? I'll figure something out...
