We are using ultrawebgrid 7.1 Version. The CellClickHandler event is not being fired in firefox and chrome,although its being fired in IE 6/7/8/9. We have to support all these browser. What could be the reason ? Please suggest.

I would suggest you to upgrade your product as the version you are using is outdated and no longer supported. For better browser support use 11.1 which is the latest version containing the classic controls.
