Guys,
I am trying to remove the tabstrip from the editor but keep the functionality. Hence, I want to move the functionality to the toolstrip and use the buttons there. I have it mostly there but I need to add a button on the HTML side so I can return to the design view. How can I add a custom button to the HTML view.
Hi wireplay,
Thank you for submitting your question on the forums. I will begin to look into your inquiry and will follow-up with you on or before Monday with an update.
Thanks!
I have taken a look into how this can be accomplished and have found that this functionality will be a new product idea for the WebHtmlEditor.
Essentially, when the button is in html view, you are only going to see the source or mark-up for the button. This is the intended behavior when in html view. Whereas when in design view you will see the control UI.
Please let me know if you need any additional assistance regarding this matter.
**as a reference, provided here is a blog post from engineering on how to build a custom toolbar button (http://es.infragistics.com/community/blogs/engineering/archive/2010/08/02/webhtmleditor-how-to-build-toolbar-button-with-custom-dialog.aspx)
Well, I suppose I need to wait for this to be a part of the product. As it stands, I will use the existing tabs instead of adding anything custom.
Thanks.
