Hi pkgal79,
I just got a response from the development team. The behavior you described is expected and this is how the "Open file" dialog should work. The content of opened file will replace the current content of WebHtmlEditor. In case no file is selected, the editor will just be displayed blank.
If you have any further questions regarding the matter, please let me know.
Thank you for your investigation.
Well, the behaviour you described may not be the required one in all cases. Like in my client's situation, a person types a long text of something to describe and then may be to emphasize things further wants to quote the contents of some file at the end. So, when he tries to achive this(i.e. typing a long text and then adding the contents of file at the end), all of his typed text is lost which is ofcourse a big frustration. Ideally the contents of file should be placed at the point of curson in editor.
So, is there any way I can change this bahviour?
Kind Regards
Thank you for your feedback.

And the main problem is that all this behaviour of disappearance of text happens when the dialogue is opened and "OK" is selected without selecting a file. I believe the "OK" button should be disabled until any file is selected OR contents of editor should stay "as it is" if no file is selected and "OK" button is pressed.
