Any simple way to add a watermark to a WebDropDown?
HelloI know a couple of months have passed since you asked this question but in case you still need assistance i will proivide a suggestion. You can customize the button by setting a custom picture to it and if you put the logo of your company this would be the watermark you are asking.

It's an interesting thought, but not what I'm looking for. Guess my question wasn't clear enough.
I'm actually looking for a TextBoxWatermark (where there's helpful text, like "Enter Amount Here" that shows in gray until the user clicks in the box)
May I know the current status of this feature (field hint or watermarking) request? I am also looking for such a feature in your webdropdown and other input type control. I think this is a very common feature in many web controls. I hope this can be added.
