Problem in exporting data

The problem is that at the time of export data in excel the main page is active. When user click any button the error appear. So how can I make the main page disabled at the time of exporting? Is there any inbuilt property to do it or I should write JS code?

Hi Sergery_Skalyga,

I'm not sure I'm following you precisely. You're using the WebExcelExporter. You click some button to go to the server to export the data to excel. And while this is happening, they click another button and get some sort of exception? Could you maybe attach a sample to demonstrate what's going on? Or maybe a picture of the exception to determine if it is a problem in our code or your application.

Thanks for reply. The problem was in my code and just fixed. I have one more question about converting Excel. In my code in Java Script when converting started, I created modal window but I can't understand how to close it. The problem is that I can't find client event of finishing converting.

Thanks for answer. I think you did not properly understand us.

We did converting by WebExcelExporter on server.

At the time of converting we create modal form (WebDialogWindow) on client by Java Script.

Question is how to close the modal form when converting is finished?

Hi,

I do not think there is a client event for finishing converting. The whole process happens on the server and then a response with the file is sent back. You could submit a feature request for this, but since the control doesn't really come back and doesn't have a client side object, I do not think this could be done. You'll have to do it some other way.
