Unable to install controls to toolbox in VS2010
posted

I am using Win 7 x64 and vs2010 premium

I have tried to use the toolbox utility for: 8.2, 8.3, 9.2, 10.1

The 8.x versions are command line and the others have a utility accessible from the start menu.

I have both vs2008 and vs2010 installed.  I am able to use the toolbox utility successfully with vs2008 but all attempts with 2010 fail.

Here is the end of the file from the log when attempting to run the utility with 9.2:

Anyone have any ideas?

I had this same issue.  I uninstalled and reinstalled Netadvantage for ASP.Net (and winforms) and then ran the toolbox utilities again and it worked fine.
