Is there any way to get the WebSpellChecker to ignore HTML entities?

I have a WebHTMLEditor control that can be populated with some predefined HTML templates and some of them have these Entity Characters in them, such as " " "&" and a whole bunch for French templates.

The Entities cause the WebSpellChecker to spit out Ã's where the entities where.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
