Is there a way to pass the value of the specific bar on a chart to a function?

I have a report of employee stats and when the user clicks on the employee bar in the chart I want it to open a grid in a popup dialog that shows the details of the employees stats.

I just cannot figure out how to pull the values associated with each bar onclick.
