We've got an important form with a WebDropDown on it, and the dropdown doesn't work at all on an iPad running Safari 8. It works on an iPhone running Safari 11. We're fairly OK with writing off Safari 8, but we don't know if Safari 9 or 10 might also be a problem, and 10 is still in side use.
I have not been able to find any specifics about what browser versions are supported. Has anyone else had trouble using a WebDropDown with Safari? Is there any knowledge out there about which versions are good and which are bad?
Is there a chance that this might be due to our Infragistics version rather than to the Safari version? We have v15.2 of the web UI for .Net 4.5, and it looks like 17.2 is current now. Maybe that will work better? I haven't even been able to find a change log for the different versions. I don't know if these packages are poorly documented or Google just doesn't like them and won't locate the docs. (And if our shop has a local copy of the docs I have no idea where they are.)
Hello Paul,
It seems that we are supporting these versions of safari. But if this is not reproducible into 17.2 we won't make any changes for 15.2.
So could you please send me an isolated working sample to assure myself what exactly doesn't work either what behavior could have for both versions.
I'm looking forward for your response.

We're coming around to probably deciding not to worry about Safari 8 anymore. It would be nice if we had a device with iOS 9 on it, to make sure that works.
The URL where we are trying to make sure this works is https://secure.thedoctors.com/TDCIS/get-a-quote.aspx -- at the bottom there's a box labeled "specialty", which has a webdropdown with a list of specialties in it, particularly dental specialties. You can try it out by typing something like "den" or "end".
