How would I go about completely uninstalling everything?
After spending several days and not be able to get the various components to work we're abandoning use of the toolset. Are there any "gotchas" I need to be aware of?
Thanks
You should be able to uninstall everything from using the Add/Remove Program applet in the Windows Control panel.
Depending on if you have installed more than just .NET 2.0 the controls, you may have to also uninstall the SDK (docs and samples) and .NET 3.5 versions.
Also, I would be interested in known more about what you were unable to get working. I know you had made several posting about VS adding an incorrect control prefix for some reason. Was that the primary problem, or did you experience others? If that was your primary problem, would it be possible for you to send me the entire project you were trying to get working so we can examine it more closely to figure out what the issue is.
If you would like, you ca nemail me directly at devinr@infragistics.com.

I did an uninstall of 9.1and still have all of the Infragistics stuff in my toolbox. What must I do to really get rid of this product?
Uninstalling the toolset doesn't affect the Visual Studio toolbox, since installing the product doesn't install anything to the toolbox.
You can delete the toolbox tab containing the controls from Visual Stuido, either before or after you uninstall the toolset itself.
I remembered that the installer didn't add the tools, why would be another question, but I deleted the tabs in the toolbox.
I still find quite a few Infragistics registry entries that I would have thought should have went away.
What I am trying to do is figure out if Infragistics is what is causing VS 2008 to crash on Close 80% of the time I'm in a web project. Seems this started happening after I ran the tool installer a second time, after accidentally reseting my toolbox. Not at all blaming Infragistics but it is the only thing I can equate to VS suddenlt starting toi crash as mentioned.
