Hi Ig Team :
Currently, I need to include in a report some text using subscript and superscripts (measure units like mg CaCO3, where "3" is a subscript)... is possible ???
Thanks in advance,
Javier Carreño
Hello Javier,
Thank you for your post.
I have been investigating into this issue, and so far it doesn't appear that this is supported in a .igr report. I am currently collaborating with my colleagues to find out for certain though. I will have more information for you on this matter shortly.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns on this matter.
Sincerely,AndrewAssociate DeveloperInfragistics Inc.www.infragistics.com/support
I have discussed this issue with my colleagues, and subscripts and superscripts are not supported by the Infragistics Reporting product. Also, in our 2015.1 product, Reporting has been discontinued for the desktop companion to our ReportPlus product, which will release later this year. You can read more about that here: http://es.infragistics.com/community/blogs/jason_beres/archive/2015/04/13/product-status-change-notification-infragistics-reporting.aspx.
Being that Reporting is now retired, if you would like to see superscripts and subscripts made available in an Infragistics reporting product, I would recommend you suggest an idea for a new feature for the ReportPlus desktop companion at http://ideas.infragistics.com.
Hi, Infragistics Team :
Already I found a solution. Label fields on infragistics reporting can show unicode characters. To send those unicode characters to the report, I used a nchar field (not a varchar field) on my sqlserver table. To populate the nchar field on sqlserver I used copy/paste from text wrote in Microsoft Word including the subscripts and superscripts (inserting symbols -unicode chars- not subscripts/superscripts funcionality of word)... the way is not short, but it works !
I hope that can help to anyone with the same requeriment....
Best regards,
