Any idea what is wrong?Thank you for your help.
Same here. Im using 2011.2 reporting.
Hi,
We are trying to diagnose this problem. Do you think you can send us some more details about the report you are trying to make and the system you are running?
For example, it would be useful to have the IGR file with the datasource and the table you generated. If you used a different database than the one used in the documentation samples, could you please give us some details about what DBMS and version you are using?
It would also be very useful to have some more info about your operating system and Reporting installation, such as which version and language of Windows and Visual Studio you are using, the service packs you have installed, and if you have the latest SP for Reporting.
Thanks,
Luis
No, I tried to install it once and VS stopped debugging my solutions, I had to roll back it. Is it a requirement?
Is there any computer with VS2010 SP1 you could try? Please tell me if the problem persists using a Visual Studio with SP1.
Hi Luis,
I just installed VS2010 SP1 (KB983509) and get same results.
If it adds some relevant info, when I click on Preview It appears the "Loading Report..." gif for a couple of seconds spinning before it crash.
Hi CoolDixon,
We have isolated the issue and found out there was a bug related to the way the resources were loaded in a Spanish environment. This was causing Visual Studio to crash. This problem will be fixed for version 2012.1.
If you want, we can send you a preview installer of version 2012.1 of NetAdvantage Reporting that includes this fix.
Regards,
Thanks a lot Luis for your prompt reply.
It was an scheduled SR for 2011.2 version on past march that was not yet released. It would be great if you could include the fix on it
Carlos
It works great now. Thanks!
Hi Carlos,
The last SR for 11.2 fixes this issue. Please let me if you have any other question.
Best,
Leo
Reporting 11.2 SR3 will be released around mid-May. It will include this fix.
Service Release is still not released despite was scheduled for end of March, will it be possible to include this?
