Hi,
may you confirm me that javascript errors in asp.net classic controls due to incompatibility with IE9 can't be solved by simply switching to Compatibility View and / or IE8 Browser Mode?
I'm using suite 2007v3.
Best regards, Andrea Pirola
Hello Apirola,
Thank you for posting this in our community. The probably js error cannot be avoid by switching to IE8 browser mode as your version of our controls is 2007 and this time IE8 was not released. Switching to IE7 browser mode could help. I will recommend to upgrade to newer version of our controls and you will have a full support of the modern browsers.
Also 2007 suite is not supported. For more details follow our product lifecycle page:

I hope this helps.
For any further questions with this matter do not hesitate to contact me.

Hi! We are using version 9.1 which is not compatible with IE9. Which version of your controls is compatible with all web browsers? this is: IE 6-9, Chrome and Firefox, thanks!
Hello fpardo,
Thank you for posting in our forum.
IE 9 is supported by NetAdvantage v10.1 and later. More information about browsers support can be found on the following page - http://es.infragistics.com/support/supported-environments.aspx.
Don't hesitate to ask if you have any other questions.
Hi! thanks! but my question is not about which version supports IE9, my question is:
NetAdventage v10.1 supports IE6 to 9? chrome and Firefox?
I need to know if it supports all IE versions (from 6 to 9) and other web browsers, in order to migrate to it.
Thanks.
Regards,
Fernando
NetAdvantage 10.1 supports IE 6 to 9 and the other browsers you mentioned, but not their latest versions. For the most extensive browser support I would reccoment you to upgrade to the latest version - NetAdvantage 12.1, which supports all these browsers, including their latest versions.
Let me know if you have any questions.
good! thanks for your help, I will check version 12.1
regards,
Hello Fernando,
1. Yes, older versions of IE are also supported.
2. You should replace UltraWebGrid and the other retired controls - for more information on this check this thread: http://blogs.infragistics.com/blogs/taz_abdeali/archive/2011/11/17/asp-net-product-changes-in-2011-volume-2.aspx.
3. You can download NetAdvangate trial version from this page - http://es.infragistics.com/dotnet/netadvantagedownloads.aspx#Downloads.
Feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.
So,
1. version 12.1 supports *older* versions of IE too?
2. Migrating to version 12.1 means to replace UltraWebGrid by WebDataGrid?
3. How could I test version 12.1? can I download a trial version?
thanks for your help.
