I`ve been using the Styling points for xamGrid reference to find out which control template do I need to create styles for which is great, but is there a similar reference for all the brushes used throughout the templates?

sorry if i understand you wrong, but what you are asking is for reference for brushes used throughout the templates in the documentation . Is that correct? So in the documentation that is not available at the moment , but what you can do is to go StartMenu > Infragistics > Your Product > Silverlight > Default Styles....
There you can open a generic.xaml file for the control that you are using and search for specific brush that you are needing. Is that useful to you ?

I don't have the package installed anymore to check what you suggested, but yes, I was using the default styles / templates as reference, but it was a bit tedious to hunt down the occurrences of different brushes, some visual reference like the linked style points would have been incredibly helpful.
So if you want to improve the documentation and make designers' life easier please consider adding this! :)
