Ultrawebmenu 2008 Vol3 ->Styling
posted

Hi, how exactly can i use the Appstylist for changing the design of the Ultrawebmenu ? i currently use the newest Version 2008 Vol3 .

When i go to the Webmenu Designer i can only choose from given Presets , but i cannot find out how i can use i new stylelibrary i created with the Appstylist for ASP.Net

Is there also a download page from infragistics i can find new Stylelibraries or Presets ?
Thanks Martin

    H Martin, in the infragistics programs menu is a tool to add the appstylist tool into the visual studio tools menu, add that in and launch visual studio again, open your web application and launch the appstylist tool from the vs tools menu, you should now be able to browse to the stylelibrary and import your visual schemes, this will modify your web.config and create a directory in your web app, you should now be able to apply stylesets to the webmenu, alternatively you could completely restyle the entire website by setting a default styleset which you will get the opportunity to do when you run the tool in the afforementioned import...

    This is for VS2005, I'm not sure about 2008. I have heard that people are having difficulty getting the tool to show up in the vs tools menu, it can be done but I think there is a bit of a workaround that you have to do;

     hoping this helps, regards,
