On my development PC the export to Excel works fine. When I publish the site on the server I get the following error when trying to export the webgrid data:
Damage to the file was so extensive that repairs were not possible. Excel attempted to recover your formulas and values, but some data may have been lost or corrupted.
Any idea what could cause this? Have I forgotten to publish an assemby? Do I need to place the dlls corresponding xml file on the webserver?
This sounds like a result that was previously reported to Developer Support. I suggest that you try installing the latest public hotfix for the version of NetAdvantage for .NET you are using.
If the problem persists after installing the hotfix, then you should submit a support request to Infragistics Developer Support.
Thank you, after installing the hotfixes and adding the latest assemblies to my webserver, the error no longer appeared.
I have the same issues.
Installing the latest Version with latest hotfix does not solved this problem. I posted this issue 5 or 6 months ago. The curious is, that this happens only on one server (unfortunately on the production server).
